With 38% richly nourishing protein, and a limited 19% low-glycemic carbohydrates, Orijen nourishes senior dogs according to their evolutionary and biological needs.
Unmatched by any other senior dog food, 2/3 of the meats are fresh (refrigerated, without preservatives) or raw (flash-frozen without preservatives), including the top 10 meat ingredients.
1/3 of meats are air dried at 90°C from fresh chicken, turkey and fish to create a concentrated source of richly nourishing protein that cannot be supplied by fresh meats alone.

Orijen Senior provides more calories from protein and fat and fewer from carbohydrates, providing a calorie distribution that mirrors the natural diet, reducing the risk of obesity and diabetes.
