Ivermectin 0.1% 10ml is a liquid spot-on for the control and treatment of mites and feather lice in small ornamental cage birds.

 

The drops are easy to apply and can be used as a preventative measure as well as a treatment.

 

Please Note: This veterinary medicine is marketed in accordance with Schedule 6 of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations - Exemptions for small pet animals.

Ivermectin 1mg/ml in a propylene glycol base.

Directions

How do I use Pharmaq Ivermectin 0.1% 10ml Spot-on?

 

The appropriate dose is measured at 1 drop per 50g of bodyweight.


Weighing the animal may be necessary to calculate accurate dosage.


Apply the appropriate dose on the back of the neck, between shoulder blades. Apply once per week for three weeks.

Is there any further advice I should know about Pharmaq Ivermectin 0.1% 10ml Spot-on?

 

PHARMAQ Ivermectin Drops 0.1% are only for use on ornamental birds. Do not allow the animal to swallow the product. Do not use in animals other than those indicated.


Serious adverse reactions, including deaths, have been reported in dogs (especially Collies, Old English Sheepdogs and related breeds), tortoises and turtles treated with the active substance.


If signs of disease persist beyond 7 days, or reappear, then advice must be sought from a veterinary surgeon.
