KATALAX Paste aids in the elimination of furballs in cats, as well as protecting against hairball formation. The formulation is tasty and easily accepted by most cats.
Hairballs in cats are annoying and unpleasant for owners to deal with, but can also cause dangerous intestinal blockages.
KATALAX causes a gentle laxative effect to lubricate the colon and ease the passage of faeces. It also helps the passage of furballs and reduces the likelihood of future blockages.
With frequent grooming and routine administration of KATALAX Hairball Remedy as directed, furballs can be reduced or even prevented.
For adult cats squeeze one inch of paste from the tube and administer once or twice daily.
For kittens administer half an inch of paste once or twice daily.
Katalax may be administered once or twice daily for up to three days, or as directed by your veterinary surgeon.
Many cats will readily accept Katalax however for fussy animals it may be applied to the paw and the cat allowed to lick it off.
If symptoms of hairballs persist, consult a veterinarian.
