Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Low Fat is a complete balanced nutrition for adult dogs. It is recommended for gastrointestinal disorders that benefit from a low fat food - gastritis, enteritis, colitis, most causes of diarrhoea, malabsorption and bacterial overgrowth. In fact, i/d Low Fat is clinically proven nutrition to calm and sooth digestive tract. This food is also recommended for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, pancreatitis, hyperlipidaemia and lymphangiectasia.

- Prebiotic fibres (beet pulp and flaxseed blend) - promotes growth of beneficial bacteria and helps normalise intestinal microflora.

- Added ginger - helps improve gastric motility.

Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Low Fat should be recommended by your veterinary surgeon. For detailed information on feeding amounts and how this food can help your pet, please consult your veterinary surgeon. Exclusively feed the recommended Prescription Diet food and keep fresh water availalbe at all times. Please note that this is a guide only and that individual animals may have different requirements. Adjust the feeding amount to maintain the optimal body weight. When feeding for the first time, mix increasing amounts of the pet's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period.
In acute pancreatitis, feed only after the initial stage during which all food and liquid by mouth are withheld. Safe early feeding is beneficial for gastrointestinal tract recovery.
This food is not recommended for growing puppies, pregnant or lactating bitches as it does not provide enough energy.

This food should be used only when recommended by a vet following the examination of your pet. Whilst your pet is being fed this diet, it is recommended that you seek veterinary advice at least every 6 months and immediately if your pet’s condition deteriorates in any way.
Ne pas utiliser cet aliment :
- Chez les chiots.
- Chez les femelles en gestation ou en lactation.
- Chez les chats.
- Chez les chiens présentant une rétention hydrosodée.
Informations complémentaires:
- N'apporte pas suffisamment d'énergie pour les chiots en croissance et pour les femelles en gestation ou en lactation.
- En cas de pancréatite aiguë, distribuer l'aliment dès la fin de la phase initiale de privation de tout apport oral alimentaire ou liquide. Réalimenter précocement et de façon appropriée favorise la guérison du tube digestif.
