Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Low Fat is a complete balanced nutrition for adult dogs. It is recommended for gastrointestinal disorders that benefit from a low fat food - gastritis, enteritis, colitis, most causes of diarrhoea, malabsorption and bacterial overgrowth. In fact, i/d Low Fat is clinically proven nutrition to calm and sooth digestive tract. This food is also recommended for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, pancreatitis, hyperlipidaemia and lymphangiectasia.

Exclusively feed the recommended Prescription Diet food and keep fresh water availalbe at all times. Please note that this is a guide only and that individual animals may have different requirements. Adjust the feeding amount to maintain the optimal body weight. When feeding for the first time, mix increasing amounts of the pet's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period.
In acute pancreatitis, feed only after the initial stage during which all food and liquid by mouth are withheld. Safe early feeding is beneficial for gastrointestinal tract recovery.
This food is not recommended for growing puppies, pregnant or lactating bitches as it does not provide enough energy.
