DENTAGEN® TOOTHPASTE is a poultry-flavoured toothpaste specifically formulated for use in cats and dogs. The toothpaste also comes with a handy finger brush for application. If necessary, you can ask vet or vet nurse to show you how to apply the toothpaste.

DENTAGEN® TOOTHPASTE contains RF2 - a natural plant compound which reduces plaque formation, thereby helping to prevent tooth and gum disease. Dentagen® Toothpaste therefore not only cleans their teeth and gums with the gold standard of mechanical action, but also inhibits plaque formation between brushing times. No other toothpaste has this inhibitory effect.

Brushing your pet's teeth every day with Dentagen® Toothpaste and using Dentagen® Aqua in the drinking water every day will help improve dental health in your cat or dog. Poor dental health leads to bad breath, problems eating, gum and tooth pain, tooth loss, lethargy, and if untreated can lead to more serious problems such as damage to internal organs through bacteria entering the bloodstream.

70g tube and finger-brush

Aqua, sorbitol, dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, hydrated silica, rheum palmatum (source of RF2), sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, propylene glycol, phenoxyethanol, sodium saccharin, flavour, methylparaben, propylparaben

It is essential to be patient and gentle when training your pet to accept tooth cleaning.

Start slowly, by lifting the pet's lip then rewarding calm behaviour with a favourite treat.

You can move onto presenting the DENTAGEN® Toothpaste and having the pet lick it, then gently rubbing the toothpaste onto the teeth and gums with circular motions over several days, until you are able to use the finger brush to apply the toothpaste to all teeth.
